If something is impossible to know, it is more useful to be a little dumber, because intelligent people can fool themselves. How? Believing that they know something. The average person will simply say “I don’t know what the hell this is” and they will be right. Well, in the sense that it will be much closer to reality. So just say those words “I don’t know” more often. And you will very often be right. Much better than joining the Dunning-Kruger Club. Let me remind you of the first rule of that club: you don’t know you’ve become a member.
