TKL: The number of 401(K) accounts with a balance of at least $1 million jumped to a record 544,000 in Q3 2024.

This is up a whopping 56% from the 349,000 in the previous year as the stock market and contributions have risen.

Since Q1 2020, the number of 401(k) millionaires has nearly TRIPLED.

Additionally, the average 401(k) account balance rose 23% year-over-year, to $132,300.

Meanwhile, over 40% of full-time workers do not have access to retirement saving plans, according to the Economic Innovation Group.

The wealth divide is widening.
