Let’s analyze the NFIB publication on the US small business survey
In general, we see a leveling off of all the positive dynamics that were emphasized last month.
First of all, we pay attention to the key optimism index, which falls by 2.5 points to 91.2. This is the 32nd consecutive month below the 50-year average of 98.
All sub-indices show a negative trend. The share of business owners who consider the current economic environment to be positive for business development is falling by 1%, returning to previous levels. And the most affected are the calculations of profit growth expectations, which fall by 9%, due to lower margins and sales volumes. Therefore, we believe that this burden will be passed on to consumers, which we will see in the CPI dynamics in the near future.
