El Salvador mined 474 BTC using geothermal energy from volcanoes.

El Salvador has mined 474 BTC using volcanic energy since September 2021.

The extracted cryptocurrency is valued at $27.7 million at the current exchange rate.

The country has also attracted $1.62bn in investments to build Bitcoin City.
